Description: Deputy Chief Cohen was struck and killed as he assisted with a crash involving an off duty FBI agent. Deputy Chief Cohen was off duty and driving his personal vehicle when he stopped to provide assistance at the scene. Deputy Cohen immediately took action and called for assistance. He blocked the crashed vehicle with his car, and activated his emergency lights. Deputy Cohen and the off duty agent were standing on the shoulder when another vehicle swerved to avoid the crash scene and struck both Deputy Cohen and the off duty agent. Deputy Cohen was pronounced dead at the scene.
