Description: Officer Cordova was killed in an automobile accident in Holtville, California. Officer Cordova and his partner were returning to department headquarters following a training exercise when the accident occurred at the intersection of Bonds Corner and Snyder road. Officer Cordova, who was the driver, was killed instantly when his department cruiser collided with a hay truck. His partner received non-life-threatening injuries.
