Description: Police Officer Crippin was shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect who had just shot another man in a pool hall. Officer Crippin fired twice, fatally wounding the suspect. The suspect returned fire and shot Officer Crippin in the head. Officer Crippin died at the scene.
