Description: Deputies Casebolt and Cable were in pursuit of two bandits who robbed and shot two local citizens. Deputies located the two robbery suspects at a local gasoline station. When the suspects spotted the patrol car, the suspects opened fire on the deputies them, killing Deputy Casebolt and wounding Deputy Cable.
