Description: Sergeant Crawford was killed when his patrol car was intentionally rammed by a suspect fleeing the scene of a standoff. Deputies had responded to a residence to investigate a domestic dispute. After pointing a rifle out of the window, the suspect exited through the back and fled in his truck. The suspect struck Sergeant Crawford?s patrol unit, injuring him critically. Sergeant Crawford died two hours later at a hospital.
