Description: Patrolman Coleman was killed in a single-car automobile accident while responding to an officer needs assistance call. As he responded, with emergency equipment activated, Patrolman Coleman swerved to avoid another vehicle and crashed his department vehicle into a cement foundation of a bridge. Patrolman Coleman was transported to a local hospital where he remained in a coma before succumbing to his injuries the next day.
