Description: Patrolman Cash was killed in an automobile accident when his patrol vehicle collided with a county patrol car from the Bradley County Sheriff's Office. Patrolman Cash, who was the passenger, was escorting an ambulance from the scene of an accident when the county patrol car, which was responding to the same accident, collided with their patrol vehicle at the intersection of Inman and Ocoee streets. Patrolman Cash died of a broken neck. Three officers and a pedestrian were injured but survived. Friendly action.
