Description: Detective Cameron was inadvertently shot by a fellow officer who misidentified him as a suspect. Detective Cameron was attempting to break up a fight at a picnic when he was attacked and beaten. Detective Cameron drew his revolver and shot two of his assailants but the attack continued. Detective Cameron took cover under the dance platform. When a patrolman arrived, he was told that the shooter was under the platform. The patrolman went under the platform and ordered him out. When he received no answer he fired and fatally shot Detective Cameron.
