Description: Constable Carpio was shot with his own gun as he attempted to arrest a suspect and a second man interfered. During the scuffle, the gun discharged and struck Constable Carpio in the lower abdomen. Constable Carpio was transported to the hospital where he died three days later. The man who interfered was charged with murder.
