Description: Corporal Carrigan was shot and killed while part of an eight-member team assigned to serve a high-risk eviction notice. After the officers arrived on the scene, the suspect came out onto the rear porch, paused, and went back into the house. Officers quickly followed the suspect inside. The suspect opened fire and shot Corporal Carrigan and wounded two other deputies. The suspect was also killed in the exchange of gunfire.
