Description: CBP Officer Collins was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Alaska when his vehicle left the roadway. Inclement weather led to poor road conditions, causing Officer Collins' department vehicle to travel down a 200-foot embankment and into a fast moving river. Law enforcement agencies undertook a massive search. Officer Collins' body was recovered on August 15th.
