Description: Sergeant Chesna was shot and killed by a suspect who was driving erratically and crashed a vehicle after which he fled on foot. Sergeant Chesna discovered the suspect vandalizing a home near the crash scene. The suspect struck Sergeant Chesna in the head with a stone and he fell to the ground dropping his service weapon. The suspect took Sergeant Chesna's weapon and fatally shot him. The suspect then fled to a nearby residence where he killed the homeowner. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with two counts of homicide.
