Description: Patrolman Casper was on his motorcycle traveling west on Mishawaka Avenue when he struck a car broadside. Patrolman Casper was traveling at a high rate of speed and was unable to stop his motorcycle in time. Patrolman Casper died at the hospital of internal injuries. The incident was ruled accidental and the driver was not charged.
