Description: Officers Curlette and Thomas Hodges, Jr. were shot as they knocked on the door of a hotel room where the suspect was hiding. Officer Frank D'Azevedo was also killed as he attempted to apprehend the suspect. The suspect fled the scene and committed suicide.
