Description: Deputy U.S. Marshal Calhoun, of Klawock, AK, was shot by a suspect who was under arrest on a charge of rape. Deputy Marshal Calhoun allowed the suspect to gather some belongings from his boat. The suspect grabbed a rifle and shot Deputy Marshal Calhoun in the back. He died at the scene. The suspect committed suicide after he was surrounded by a posse.
