Description: Captain Colburn died of a heart attack while participating in his department's annual physical fitness program. Captain Colburn was running on the fitness track of the Police Academy when he collapsed. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Captain Colburn had signed into the gym at 1358 hours and was found at 1433 hours, according to department documentation.
