Description: Police Officer Colson was inadvertently shot during an ambush attack at the District III Police Station. Officer Colson was in plainclothes and was outside the station when a suspect opened fire on officers. A gun battle ensued between the suspect and responding officers. Officer Colson was inadvertently shot and transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Three suspects were apprehended.
