Description: Deputy Prohibition Officer Cook was shot in the chest in an exchange of gunfire when he attempted to arrest a Constable wanted for an unlawful arrest. Officer Cook returned fire and killed his assailant. Officer Cook died due to a collapsed lung two days later.
