Description: Sergeant Correa-Ortega was shot while conducting an undercover arms purchase. Sergeant Correa-Ortega and another officer were at a fair frequently used to conduct the illegal trade of vehicles, horses, and other items. While conducting a transaction with several subjects someone opened fire. Sergeant Correa-Ortega was killed and the other officer was wounded. Three suspects were charged with murder.
