Description: Sergeant Cox suffered a fatal heart attack after completing a vehicle crash call. Sergeant Cox responded to the scene with emergency lights and siren activated and arrived after 11 minutes. Sargent Cox was the on-duty supervisor and accident investigator. A horse drawn buggy had been struck by a vehicle and the buggy driver was ejected. After completing the call, Sergeant Cox gave the buggy rider a lift home. As Sergeant Cox left the residence he collapsed. Sergeant Cox was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
