Description: Patrol Officer Crouse was killed in a single-vehicle crash while in pursuit of a vehicle that had ignored two stop signs. The patrol car spun out of control on the icy road and struck an embankment. Officer Crouse was transported to the hospital where he died a few hours later. Three other officers who were passengers in the patrol car were also injured but survived. The motorist was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
