Description: Police Officer Clark died as a result of a pulmonary embolism from an on-duty injury 11 months prior during a foot pursuit. On January 18, 2011, Officer Clark and fellow officers engaged in a foot pursuit with two suspects who were resisting arrest. While pursuing the suspects, Officer Clark fell into a hole in a field and fractured his ankle. Officer Clark??®s ankle required surgery to repair the damage. Officer Clark died as a result of complications from the surgery on November 3, 2011.
