Description: Sergeant Carmikle was killed in a helicopter accident while patrolling for night hunters. Sergeant Carmikle was scanning the area and had notified officers on the ground of potential suspects. The helicopter made a crash landing that broke the rotor and caused the fuselage to buckle. Officer Carmikle was killed instantly. The pilot of the plane survived the accident.
