Description: Officer Chetcuti responded to cover another officer on a traffic stop where suspect was known to have a gun. Upon arrival, Officer Chetcuti engaged in a gun battle with suspect. Officer Chetcuti was shot and killed with a semi-automatic rifle which pierced the front of his vest.
