Description: Police Officer Crouse was ambushed and shot while conducting a traffic stop. Officer Crouse pulled over a driver for a traffic violation in a parking lot at the Virginia Tech. A suspect, unrelated to the traffic stop, approached Officer Crouse who was seated in his patrol vehicle and shot him in the head. Officer Crouse died at the scene. The suspect was later found dead by a self inflicted gunshot wound.
