Description: Deputy Callahan and his partner were on routine patrol duty on Lake Tahoe. As they docked the boat a large wave hit the boat causing it to capsize. Deputy Rice was able to get back to the boat. He threw a line to his partner but Deputy Callahan was pulled under and did not resurface. His body was recovered fifteen minutes later.
