Description: Agent II Colon-Claussells and Agent Mayra Ramirez-Barreto, of the Puerto Rico Department of Justice, were killed in an automobile crash. The officers were serving as part of an extradition team to pick up inmates in Oklahoma and transport them back to Puerto Rico. An SUV traveling in the opposite direction crossed the centerline of the road and struck their van head-on. Two other correctional officers were also injured in the crash but survived.
