Description: Constable Claborn was killed when an intoxicated driver of a pickup truck slammed into his patrol car. Constable Claborn was providing escort for construction crews on North Beltway 8 when the pickup truck struck him from behind. The impact of the accident caused the patrol vehicle to flip several times and land upside down. Constable Claborn was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
