Description: Police Officer Cantave was accosted and fatally stabbed while off-duty during a robbery attempt by two teenagers. Officer Cantave was stabbed multiple times by the first suspect after he had disarmed the second suspect. Officer Cantave was riding the subway train in the Bronx when the incident occurred.
