Description: Officer Coelho suffered a fatal heart attack while intervening in a fight at Haleiwa Beach Park. Officer Coelho was off-duty and visiting the beach with his family when a fight broke out causing a disturbance. Officer Coelho intervened, identified himself as a police officer, and attempted to subdue the two men fighting. While attempting to subdue the suspects Officer Coelho had a fatal heart attack and died.
