Description: Deputy Cogdill responded to a disturbance call where a suspect was drunk and disrupting a party. After escorting the suspect outside the dance, the suspect beat and stomped Deputy Cogdill to death. The Deputy was beaten so bad that one section of his false teeth was forced down his throat, and his jaw was cut complete through. When Deputy Cogdill's body was found he was immediately pronounced dead.
