Description: Deputy Casey was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a suspect for public intoxication and creating a disturbance. While escorting the suspect to the jail, the suspect produced a pistol and fatally shot Deputy Casey twice in the chest. The suspect was arrested, found guilty in a court of law and executed by hanging.
