Description: On December 9, 1895, Constable Campbell was accidentally shot when he drew his pistol and it struck the railing and discharged. Constable Campbell had responded to a disturbance at the saloon when the incident occurred. The bullet struck Constable Campbell under his left arm. Constable Campbell was bedridden and attended to by a doctor. He died of his injuries two weeks later on December 26, 1895.
