Description: Constable Close responded to a call where shots had been fired. Upon entering the doorway, suspect was waiting for constable with a shotgun. Constable Close tried to talk to suspect asking him to put down his weapon. Suspect, not being in his right mind, shot Constable Close in the neck, killing him instantly.
