Description: Deputy Sheriff Carter collapsed while in foot pursuit of a burglary suspect. Deputy Carter had pursued the suspect in a stolen vehicle and started a foot pursuit after the suspect crashed and abandoned the vehicle. Deputy Carter was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
