Description: Guard Campbell was shot and killed by an inmate who refused to perform his assigned duties at the Newcastle County (DE) facility. The inmate attacked Guard Campbell with a saw, gained control of his service weapon and shot him. Responding officers fatally shot the inmate. Guard Campbell died of his injuries a few hours later.
