Description: Patrolman Condon was attempting to arrest a suspect and transport him to jail. The suspect kicked Patrolman Condon breaking the skin. The wound led to blood poisoning. The patrolman soon developed Pneumonia, Infective Phlebitis, and Meningitis. Department records and the death certificate verify that Patrolman Condon died as a direct result of the injuries he sustained in the kicking incident.
