Description: <p>Police Officer Callahan was on his department vehicle en route to answer a complaint when he was struck from the rear by a drunk driver. Officer Callahan was on US 73 waiting for traffic to clear before making a left turn. Officer Callahan was thrown 12 feet from the motorcycle. He was transported to the hospital where he died.</p>
