Description: Foreman Cushman was attacked and beaten with a single-blade ax by an inmate who then stole Foreman Cushman's vehicle and escaped from the Menard Correctional facility. The inmate, who was serving a 45 year sentence for murder, was captured a week later. The inmate was revealed to be a serial killer who ultimately confessed to killing 33 people. The inmate was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
