Description: Deputy Sheriff Collier was killed in a single-vehicle automobile crash during a traffic violation pursuit. Deputy Collier spotted a driver going the wrong way and attempted to stop the vehicle. Deputy Collier's squad car struck an abutment which caused it to overturn multiple times until it came to a rest at the bottom of a hill. Deputy Collier was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect was charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
