Description: Sergeant Cox was shot and killed when he and other SWAT team members responded to a domestic disturbance dispute between a man and his wife. While attempting to clear the windows of the home, SWAT team members were met with gunfire. Sergeant Cox was accidentally shot in the head by a fellow SWAT team member in the exchange of gunfire. Officer Jonny Hutson was also wounded in the exchange of gunfire. Friendly fire.
