Description: Officer Cantrell was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a burglary in progress call. While responding Officer Cantrell swerved his patrol car to avoid hitting another vehicle that had pulled out in front of him. The patrol unit landed in a ditch and struck a culvert killing Officer Cantrell. Officer Cantrell's father was participating in a ride along with his son and was also killed in this incident.
