Description: Deputy Sheriff Canfield was killed in a motorcycle accident while pursuing a speeding motorist. Deputy Canfield turned on his emergency lights and sirens while chasing a speeding motorist when another motorist made a left turn and ran into Deputy Canfield's motorcycle. Deputy Canfield was knocked from his motorcycle, and he was pronounced dead at Mercy San Juan Medical Center shortly after.
