Description: Patrolman Chace was struck and killed while directing traffic at a local construction site. Patrolman Chace was thrown several feet and suffered a skull fracture and internal bleeding. The driver that struck Patrolman Chace took him to two different locations before he found the town doctor. Patrolman Chace was pronounced dead upon arrival at the doctors home.
