Description: Patrolmen Carey and Eugene Loner were in vehicle pursuit of suspects for several traffic violations. The police car went into a spin while trying to negotiate a curve and crashed into a tree. Patrolman Carey was killed instantly. Patrolman Loner was hospitalized and recovered from his injuries.
