Description: Marshal Colson was walking along the railroad tracks clearing out hobo camps when he was ambushed by four men. Marshal Colson was shot in the stomach but managed to return fire. He was transported to the hospital and died the following day after unsuccessful surgery. An intense manhunt led to the arrest of three suspects.
