Description: Police Officer Cross was shot and killed as he approached a suspicious vehicle in an area known for narcotics sales in Southwest Atlanta. Officer Cross and two other officers observed the vehicle parked on the side of the road and approached it with caution. As Officer Cross approached the drivers' side of the vehicle, the suspect shot Officer Cross in the face. Fellow officers returned fire and killed the suspect.
