Description: Policeman Clowry was assigned to guard duty at the Commonwealth Building and Loan Association. Policeman Clowry was shot in the head by bandits who made off with $1,000. Officer Clowry died 16 months later at the Philadelphia General Hospital as a result of his injuries after numerous confinements in the hospital.
