Description: Special Officer Cantu was shot after he ordered a drunk and disorderly man to leave the neighborhood merry-go-round. The man went home and returned armed with a pistol and shot Officer Cantu multiple times. The man then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Officer Cantu was transported to the hospital where he died several hours later.
