Description: Deputy Compier and Officer Weldon Wilson were transporting a suspect to jail for illegally selling whiskey. The suspect gained control of Officer Wilson's gun and shot both officers. Deputy Compier was shot fatally as he attempted to control the car. He and Officer Wilson were found dead at the scene.
